The Steinert brothers' palace was built in the years 1909-1911 according to the design of the Berlin architect Alfred Balcke in a style reminiscent of the North German Renaissance. Above the entrances there are symbols of the owners' textile profession - a figure of a spinner surrounded by an industrial motif of a toothed wheel . The palace was intended for two families. Hence its symmetrical facade and two gates. The building is two-story with a mansard, a mansard roof,
with gables framed by volutes. In 2017-2019, the building underwent renovation and from the ruins it turned into a pearl of Łódź. The building was rebuilt, painted and decorated at various times, during the renovation, original elements of the palace were revealed: gilding, stucco, inlays, traces of polychrome, and most often pieces of fabrics filling the paneling. In the palace and the Steinert house, spaces for creative businesses were created: offices, meeting rooms, a hostel and a restaurant space were also planned. An important element of the design is also the palace garden, which is to restore the original beauty.
